Our Story

Our story

It all begins with Tommy O’s open jam nights for the vocalist Walker Laws. Tommy O’s is where Jim Pitts (drummer) heard her perform for the first time. Years later Jim decided to create a jazz fusion band with Sam Fisher(Bassist) and a few other jazz musicians from a larger band. After Sam’s wife told Jim they needed a vocalist he jumped into action and called a mutual friend (Tom Grant). Over time the band has grown in sound but fluctuated in it’s size and members. Our pianist, Kassidy Effinger is our newest addition having joined the group in the summer of 2024. We truly love performing together and we hope that that shines in our performances.
